A weathered doorway, a rain-slicked street, a row of rooftops catching the late light. The most memorable urban paintings are built from details, but knowing which ones to paint, and which to leave to the viewer's imagination, is what separates a good painting from a captivating one.
In this two-day workshop, you'll move beyond basic shapes and washes to explore how architecture and street scenes come alive through thoughtful detail. Working from demonstrations, reference material, and guided exercises, you'll learn to:

Studio Address: 1729 North 2nd Street Suite 303, Minneapolis, MN 55411. There are plenty of free on-street parking around the studio building.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Workshop Supplies and Meals: Painting supplies list will be emailed to participants after they are registered. Participants are responsible for bringing their own lunch. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
